Nielsen Streaming Top 10: White Collar Joins the Chart Three Weeks After Netflix Debut,

“White Collar,” the police procedural that concluded on USA in 2014, made its debut on Nielsen’s weekly streaming rankings with 717 million minutes watched during the April 22-28 viewing window, landing in the No. 8 position.
The decade-old show’s viewership bump is thanks to what has recently become known as the Netflix effect; the streaming service has seen big success licensing titles with high episode counts that have previously finished their runs on other platforms.
But unlike “Suits,” the best example of this for its historic Nielsen run in summer 2023, “White Collar” took three weeks to make it to the chart, having been added to Netflix on April 1. This is unusual, as titles like “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” and “Killing Eve” made the overall Top 10 immediately after their Netflix debuts as well, while “White Collar” hasn’t even been on the list of the Top 10 acquired titles before now.

Per Nielsen, however, the series just missed making the acquired list with about 550 million viewing minutes in both of the previous two weeks. Additionally, “White Collar” is 83 episodes long while some of its competitors on the chart — “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Family Guy” and “NCIS,” for example, have more than 400.

“Fallout” hit with 1.5 billion minutes watched during this viewing window, landing in the No. 1 position for the third week in a row — the first Amazon Prime Video title ever to do so.
“Baby Reindeer” took fifth place with 915 million minutes watched in its second full week on Netflix, jumping from ninth place with 673 million the week before. Right behind it was “Anyone but You” with 773 million minutes watched in its first three days of availability on Netflix after a box office-smashing theatrical run that began in late December.
The rest of the chart was dominated by repeat titles: “Grey’s Anatomy” at No. 3 with 1.2 billion minutes watched, “Family Guy” at No. 4 with 973 million, “The Resident” at No. 7 with 760 million, “NCIS” at No. 9 with 693 million minutes and “Criminal Minds” at No. 10 with 637 million.
