Sabrina Carpenter Reveals Tracklist for New Short N Sweet Album

Sabrina Carpenter is gearing up to share her sixth full-length album, “Short n’ Sweet.” On Tuesday the “Espresso” singer revealed the LP, set for an Aug. 23 debut, is comprised of 12 songs with unreleased titles including “Dumb & Poetic,” “Lie to Girls” and more.
Carpenter shared the news on her social media with an infomercial-styled trailer that sees her dancing to an instrumental of her smash hit “Espresso.” She previously shared the sultry sweet album artwork that has her front and center with a ruby red kiss mark on her shoulder.
Carpenter has dominated the singles charts this year with “Espresso” and her latest single, “Please Please Please,” both of which make up the tracklist. The 25-year-old singer made Hot 100 history when “Please Please Please” debuted at No. 2, while her viral hit “Espresso” sat at No. 3 — making her the first solo act in the history of the 66-year-old Billboard Hot 100 chart to land two simultaneous top-three hits.

Adding fuel to her fire, Carpenter has also appeared as a guest on “Saturday Night Live,” and took over the mainstage at California’s Coachella festival. That weekend, she performed “Espresso” live for the first time, just days after the single premiered.
Carpenter released her fifth studio album “Emails I Can’t Send” last year, and it became her highest-charting to date. The LP included a hot single “Nonsense,” which has quickly become a fan favorite. She followed the 2022 release with a deluxe edition earlier this year, and embarked on an 80-date international headlining tour to support the project. She was also the opening act on Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, opening for the singer in South America and Australia.
Carpenter started her career in entertainment as the star of the 2014-17 Disney Channel comedy “Girl Meets World.” She simultaneously was working on music, first under the Disney-owned Hollywood Records, and now under Island Records.
